Al-Hilal FC (Arabic‎; The Crescent), also known simply as Al-Hilal, is a Saudi Arabian sports club based in the country's capital of Riyadh and best known for its professional football team, known as Al-Hilal Saudi Football Club. The football team holds the largest number of titles among Saudi clubs with 47 official trophies since its founding in 1957[1] [ the most football team gets national championships ( 35 championships ), as well as Asian ( 6 championships ), in addition to Arab and Gulf Championships ( 7 championships ) ]. Al-Hilal has a reputation for being the most widely supported club in Saudi Arabia, according to polls: Zogby, Daihatsu, Mobily.[2]

Among the club's most famous players were Yousuf Al-Thunayan,a player who amazed Saudi football fans with his skills. Also, Sami Al-Jaber; the longtime legend of the Saudi Arabian national football team, and goalkeepers octopus in the past Mohamed Al-Deayea is the current world record holder for most international appearances by a male football player. [3][4]. The very well-known Brazilian, Rivelino, also played for Al-Hilal from 1978 to 1981.

The nickname "AL-Zaeem", which means "The Boss",came from the club's leading position in Saudi Arabia and Asia.[5] With this clear lead, the IFFHS has decided to determine Al-Hilal as Asia's Club of the 20th Century.[6]


Djoliba Athletic Club (Djoliba AC) is a Malianfootball club and one of the two biggest teams in Mali alongside the Stade Malien. The team is based in the capital city of Bamako. It has its headquarters and three training stadia at Complex Sportif Hérémakono, in the Heremakono Quartier. The President of Djoliba AC, re-elected in 2009 to a four year term, is Karounga Keita a VicePresident of FEMIFOOT, former trainer at the club, who was a player at the founding of the club in 1960.[1]Bambara language name of the Niger River. The club was created in 1960 by a fusion of "Africa Sport" Bamako and "Foyer du Soudan", two successful teams during French Colonial rule.

The team was helped a lot during the 1970s by officer Tiécoro Bagayoko, a prominent member of the ruling military dictatorship of president Moussa Traoré. Many critics of Djoliba AC, especially coming from the rival Stade Malien, claim that the strength of the club was built during that period.

However, Tiekoro Bagayoko was gone in 1978 after his arrest, yet Djoliba kept obtaining titles and cups. Today, it is reputed to be the biggest and the most organized soccer club in Mali.
